Continued from page 1, a grand fair at the fair grounds features a wide array of attractions. W F Tanner of Sterling is in charge of the grounds and reports a large and varied program secured for the event.
The Dalton camp expects excitement from Lodge Pole's appearance on the Dalton diamond. If Jobman stays in form Dalton is favored. Lodge Pole has two strong offensive nine led by Emanuelson who impressed Sunday against Sidney. Star seeks a victory and will target Lorenzo Sunday in hopes of a win. The Star nine has suffered bad breaks this year, losing several close games.
Editors press the belief that state bonds will be the ultimate solution. A direct levy seems unlikely to gain approval now. Local leaders favor letting bond retirements be funded from the gasoline tax share, a proposal met with broad approval.
A large contingent arrived by air yesterday and the visit drew an estimated six to eight thousand people to the field. Police managed the sparsely parked lots and field systematically with no incidents reported.

Edith Martin, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Martin of this city, has returned from Hammond Indiana and will spend the summer months. Losing exercises of the vacation Bible school will be held Sunday night June 29 at the Christian church. Parents and friends of the youngsters taking part are invited to be present.
