Senator Wherry said a military appropriations bill includes 2,149,400 for Sioux Ordnance Depot expansion. Three men were arrested Wednesday by Cheyenne County Sheriff W. W. Schulz and Police Chief Bill Rezac on charges of passing no fund or insufficient fund checks. Howard Duke of Sterling faced a $10 no fund check at Gambles and fled when confronted. Duke received a $29 bond and a preliminary hearing was set for district court. L. E. Douglas and Ted Lee, tied to the Mayfair Case, were arrested in Benkelman for writing $200 in insufficient fund checks and are held for arraignment.
