Parade Details for June 24 and 25 Hometown Festival
Participants for Friday June 24 assemble at 18th avenue and Jackson Streets and are assigned to starting places. On Saturday June 25, assemblage is on 17th Avenue between Jackson and Linden Streets for starting points. The parade goes east on Illinois Street to Eighth Avenue, south to King Street, then west back to the disbanding point. Horse riders on Saturday should keep horses in close control when a B-29 formation passes about eleven a.m. to prevent accidents. All participants must be in place by nine a.m. since parades start at ten a.m.
