Top Bands Booked For Sidney Days Fort Sidney parade plans announced
Governor Val Peterson will open Fort Sidney Days at the band shell on June 23 with an official ceremony. Parades on June 24 and 25 will feature a 70 piece Haxtun high school band, bands from Sedgwick Julesburg and Sidney, a drum and fife corps, the Lodgepole Valley Saddle club, National Guard unit, Boy and Girl Scouts, Rural Youth, a square dancing team, and various parade participants. The Friday parade starts at 10 am with music and displays, while Saturday promises the larger lineup with about 15 floats and additional features.
