Dalton Garden Club Flowers Show a Big Success
The sixth annual flower show by the Dalton Garden Club drew about 150 attendees at the Legion Hall on June 13. Highlights included a rainbow garden-cart display for the Flowerama theme, numerous horticulture and arrangement exhibits, and standout pieces like a blooming cactus and amaryllis. Judges from Scottsbluff to Minatare praised entries. Sophia Geis won best trio of peonies, Clara Stoll topped blue ribbons and a door prize went to Mrs. Johnny Wachorn. A Silver Tea followed and club members expressed gratitude to attendees and helpers.
