Picnic at Krueger’s Grave Sparks Stormy Refuges

A sudden storm drives guests to shelter in Krueger’s stone barn where the event continues with barn games and merry feasting. The youths praise Mrs Trognitz for her hospitality and for “ordering the rain” at the right moment.
Four Year Old Grace Davis Expires in City
Grace Pricilla Davis aged four years five months died in the city on June 12. Funeral services were held from her grandmother Mrs Slingluff's home led by Rev L F Gunderman with comfort from the text He shall gather the lambs with His arms and carry them in His bosom. The burial took place beside her brother and grandfather in the Dunkard cemetery south of town with many friends in attendance. The Telegraph offers sincere sympathy.
