Eckert and Broughton Married in Sidney Area

On Wednesday at 8 a m at the home of Mr and Mrs C E Harper the marriage of Jake Eckert of Ickes and Bessie Broughton of Bridgeport was performed by Rev Zinnecker. After the ceremony they went to Ickes to begin their home life with well known connections in Sidney and surrounding districts.

Commercial Club Adopts By Laws and Approves July Report

The Commercial Club held a regular session last Friday night adopting by laws and constitution, accepting the Fourth of July committee report, renting the Doran and Hadley office for a meeting place, and forming a committee to furnish the same. The meeting adjourned until the next regular session.

An early week auto fishing party at Krenger's lake included Bob Mulloy Miss Maury Jane Jones Miss Marguerite Chase and Shorty Jones.
