Surprise showers and community gatherings in Grand Prairie
About 40 neighbors gathered Monday for a surprise miscellaneous shower for Mrs. Alvin Bauer with games and refreshments. A second surprise honored Mr. A L Roberts on his birthday with the Better the Best swine club, attended by former neighbors and Grand Prairie residents. Various local families hosted meals and visited Sidney and Lodge Pole areas, with many household groups listed as guests at dinners and calls throughout the week.
