The body of Roy H. Libby 42 killed in a Scottsbluff plane crash was returned to Lodge Pole his birthplace for services and burial beside his father. Young Couple Wed Thursday in Scottsbluff
Robert E. Whitmore son of Mr and Mrs C Whitmore of Scottsbluff and Dorothy Hurt daughter of Mrs Zoe Hurt of Madison were married at Scottsbluff Thursday afternoon at 5 oclock in the Methodist church. Rev Spooner officiated. Only immediate relatives attended. Whitmore is manager of the Finke Creamery branch in Sidney since last fall and came from Scottsbluff. Hurt taught in Lodge Polo schools this year. The couple will return to Sidney immediately due to business, with no honeymoon.

Union Pacific Trains Delayed Wednesday by Washout
Westbound Union Pacific trains ran 10 to 16 hours late Wednesday because of a washout near Elm Creek. Trains were diverted over the Burlington road to Brush Colorado and then north to the main line. Express no. 1 fast mail and passenger due in Sidney at 6 05 a m did not arrive until Wednesday night. Other trains were proportionately late.
