A four inch rainfall Monday drenched the Sidney area, washing topsoil from Lodgepole Valley and flooding basements in Sidney Sunol and Lodgepole. Highway 30 traffic halted between Lodgepole and Sund, reopened Tuesday morning as floodwaters subsided.
