Sidney received an engraved electric clock, district governor Dr K F Rystrom of Bayard accepted the district award, Ralph Thompson reported. Dr Wray Mack Russell of Scottsbluff was elected district governor and C T Young of Pender named state International Director candidate. Next year’s meeting will be in Fremont. Ernest F. Whitefoot 52 died Tuesday after a long illness in a Sidney hospital. Services in Lodgepole Methodist Church at 2 pm conducted by Rev. Schroeder of Immanuel Lutheran. Burial in Lodgepole Cemetery. Survived by widow Wilma, four children, his mother, six sisters, seven brothers, and one grandson. Burial directed by The Craig Mortuary. Born September 27, 1899 in Boelus Nebraska. He lived at Boelus and Lodgepole, served as school custodian, worked at Lodgepole Municipal Power Plant, and was married April 23, 1928 in Sterling Colorado.
