Jewelry theft case leads to arrests at Court House
Sheriff King and Ben Osborne recovered partial jewelry from Reinhardt's store including two watches and a ring. Osborne, who says the items came from a man named Bob Marshall in a saloon, was jailed thirty days as a witness if Marshall is captured. Collins and others were detained as witnesses. several individuals were fined for drunkenness or vagrancy.

John Tobin dies in Cheyenne after tracheotomy
John Tobin brother of M H Tobin of this city died at Cheyenne Friday evening May 25 after a brief illness. He suffered from glottic obstruction and a tracheotomy was performed but the operation failed. He served long in Union Pacific secret service and resigned this year to become Cheyenne chief of police. Funeral held Monday at St Marys Cathedral Cheyenne. He leaves a wife two children and three brothers Thomas Patrick and M H Tobin.
