Six Services Offered In Panhandle Psychiatric Center
The Panhandle Mental Health Center will offer six services for Panhandle residents including in-patient, emergency, day-care, out-patient, rehabilitation, and consultation and education programs designed to return patients to normal life in the community. In-patient care will come from two Scottsbluff hospitals, St. Mary and West Nebraska General, each with at least ten dedicated beds for adults and adolescents. Isabel, a 30 year old mother, illustrates how the center will coordinate emergency admission, diagnosis, medication, and therapy across inpatient, day-care, and outpatient stages for a swift return home.
