Joe Edgar Brown a 21 year old Kimball resident serving in the U S Navy drowned Sunday while swimming at Bass Lake northeast of Madera California Funeral services will be held in Kimball at 10 a m Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church Burial will be at Kimball Cemetery Allen Mortuary directed He was born March 30 1940 in Cheyenne and graduated from Kimball County High School in May 1961 He entered the Navy in December 1961 He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs N L Cub Brown of Kimball four brothers Roger Jack Lewis and Richard and his grandparents The loss is reported with note on Mrs Brown active in Royal Neighbors and VFW Auxiliary.
