If successful, the farmers would run their grain via a dedicated commission, as other grain commissioners may attempt to block the plan. They aim to dispose of grain before government price expires and return more money to farmers. The commission already supports livestock handling and paid lower salaries while delivering the same work, turning 46,200 to livestock raisers last year that the old method would not have provided.
