George McDonald 32 of Sidney tried to restart his stalled 1950 model on Union Pacific rails six miles east of Sidney. An eastbound UP freight struck the car, demolishing it. No injuries. Car carried 111 feet east and 30 feet south from impact, Nebraska Safety Patrol says. McDonald was traveling south at the time.
