Farmers Should Keep Good ASC Payment Record
Producers who earn payments in the voluntary feed grain and wheat programs receive computation statements with payment drafts says ASC chairman Ray Davis. Retain these along with farm records as they show program type, gross and net payments, planted and diverted acreage, and projected yield. Verify statements with farm records and contact county ASC offices with questions. If statements are lost, county records provide the needed information. 1970 farm program payments began July 2 and were expected to finish by August end.
