Car and Bus Crash Leaves Man Seriously Hurt Near Sidney
Edward Lee Sungee, 34, of Denver, was seriously injured in a head on collision with a Sioux Ordnance Depot bus west of Sidney around 12:30 am Wednesday. The 1952 Chevrolet driven by Sungee collided with the Wade Bus Lines bus, injuring Sungee and leaving him in Taylor Hospital. Bus passenger Harry Bailey and Berve McKellip were treated at Sidney Hospital. bus driver Jackie Banks suffered bruised shins. Damage was estimated at 600 to the bus and 950 to the car. A prior minor crash near Lorenzo and a separate pickup incident near Sidney were also reported with limited injuries.

Mrs. Joseph Oliverious 83 of Cheyenne County died at 804 Maple Street after a period of failing health. Funeral services are at 1 00 a m at The Craig Mortuary with Rev Norman Schroeder in charge. Burial is in the Bohemian Cemetery south of Sunol. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Survivors include her husband three sons a daughter fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
