Army Major John J. Kincaid earned a promotion and completed a 12 week Defense Language Institute Spanish course at the Presidio of Monterey. He previously led depot facilities at Sioux Army Depot and has served at Fort Ord, Fort Lewis, Fort Richardson, Thule, and other posts. He is married to Barbara J. McGuire and has four children. In August he heads to a Dominican Republic project mapping the country.
