Fire destroys old shell parlor near Moore's studio
Fire alarm summoned the department to a beauty parlor north of Moore's studio Thursday around eleven. Owner Mrs. Chambers found flames after opening a rear door to a coal oi stove. She suffered cuts and burns while saving stock as goods burned and interiors wrecked. The building owned by The First National Bank is beyond repair. Mrs. Chambers had no insurance.
