Mrs Mann Rites Held for Julia Mann 88 Sidney Resident
Funeral services were held Monday for Julia Mann 88 a Sidney resident who died after a long illness. The Craig Mortuary conducted rites with Dr Benjamin Schwartz in charge. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include son Charles L. Mann and daughter Mrs. Agnew with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs Mann was active in the Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Fall Is Fatal for Earl Deal at 65
Earl Deal 65 died at a local hospital after a fall at the Commercial Hotel Saturday afternoon. He slipped on outside stairs at 2:45 pm sustaining a skull fracture and brain concussion. Funeral services set for The Craig Mortuary at 2 pm with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. He was born January 20, 1885 in Hamilton County Nebraska and survived by his widow Nellie Viola Glant and eight children, plus five brothers and five sisters. One son died in infancy.
