Dairy Cattle Entered for 4-H Dairy Day Judging
About 27 head of dairy cattle entered for judging at 4-H Dairy Day held at Alliance Hereford Barn. Entries include four Ayrshire, two Guernsey, five Jersey, and 16 Holstein cattle. Judge was Phil Cole from the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture. Demonstrations on fitting and showings were given by Coven Jean, Fodnes, and Sherry Mundt of the Prairie Bell 4-H Dairy Club. Livestock loss prevention demo by Harry Bauer and Terry Trenkle of the Marple Wranglers 4-H Club. County Agent John Reynolds, in charge, said a good crowd attended the morning session.
