Dog Licensing and Impounding Ordinance Adopted
Sidney Nebraska passes Ordinance No. 562 amending dog licensing rules from Ordinance 455. It sets a three dollar license fee with a twenty five cent discount for rabies vaccinated dogs, requires dogs to be registered with a metal tag, and outlaws running at large. It mandates impounding and humane destruction of unclaimed dogs after seventy two hours with redemption fees and penalties.

Rookie Kutters 4 H Club Holds Third Regular Meeting
The third regular meeting of the Rookie Kutters 4 H Club was held at Marcia Treblick's home on June 25 at 7 PM. The vice president called the meeting to order and members made biscuits and cinnamon toast. Dues were collected and a song was sung. Refreshments were served by Mrs Treblick. Plans for July include practicing a song and no next meeting yet scheduled. on June 26 at 7 AM they attended a hobo breakfast.
