Two Escape Injury As Car Rolls Near Sunol
A 33 year old California woman and her young daughter escaped serious injury near Sunol when the car went out of control and into a ditch and overturned. Mrs Muriel V Clapton of Santa Monica told Trooper Zapp she lost control of the auto which rolled over. Both suffered minor bruises and the accident occurred about 7 40 a m Wednesday morning about four tenths of a mile east of Sunol. Heavy damage to the vehicle was reported.

Smouldering Cigarette Blamed for Trailer City Fire
A smouldering cigarette in a sofa caused a fire at the Trailer City office east of Sidney at 8 06 p m Monday. Firemen moved the smoke filled sofa from the room. Damage was limited to the sofa and minor smoke damage. It followed a trash and grass blaze at Trailer City earlier in the week.
