P J Heaton doubts the eastern district filing by supporters as valid. A Tuesday ruling says incumbents seeking another office must file 50 days before the primary, changing the usual 40 day limit. Heaton, county attorney, has filed for reelection. he could be drafted for Congress but fears the deadline is missed. Assistant AG Barlow Nye issued the ruling. Heaton questions whether the legislature can bar running for Congress if filing complies with 40 days.

Campbell outlines loan rules for wheat growers in Cheyenne county
