Apache Corp. of Minneapolis drilled three wells in western Nebraska and produced 200 barrels of oil in 14 hours from the No 1 Young well in Banner County. The well extends Banner Oil Co.’s No 1 Sand berg, which pumps 120 barrels daily from the J sand. A second operator, Midwest Petroleum of Omaha, plugged and abandoned the No 1 Fleming Day well in Cheyenne County after drilling to 5,040 feet.
