Senior residents played a dartball game at the Sidney Senior Citizens Center on Monday with the men defeating the women 6 to 3. The following Tuesday’s card games crowned Veronica Wells as pitch winner Ruth Shuberg as second Cecil Hume as third Pincachle winners Blanche Block first Carl Christ second and Amanda Folkerts third. Women held for forgery in Los Angeles warrant
Two women from California are held in Cheyenne County jail for Los Angeles authorities on forgery charges. Mindi Heilman 25 of Woodland Hills and Debra Adkins 21 of Bellflower were arrested by Nebraska State Patrol in Sidney after a routine vehicle check. The Rocky Mountain Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America held its regional board meeting and banquet at Fort Sidney Motor Hotel Saturday. Sidney Trailblazers hosted with Charles Lofler of Sidney elected vice president. Dues may rise to cover monthly publication costs. Entertainment came from the Panhandlers Fiddlers Sidney division and dancing. A regional tour is planned for June with the Poudre Valley Chapter from Fort Collins.
