Red Cross Sponsors Home Nursing Class in High School
Four days remain in the March of Dimes drive as Sidney High School offers its first Red Cross home nursing course. Mrs. Selzer leads students in this practical program with new equipment, beds borrowed from Taylor Hospital, and plans for it to join the curriculum. The 30 hour course ends with certificates and pins from the Red Cross.

Extension Agents To State Meeting
Cheyenne County Agricultural Agent W P Bullock and Home Agent Violet Shepherds leave Sunday for Lincoln to attend a one day subject matter conference for agents statewide. Collision Damage Reported at 13th and Linden Intersection
Sidney police investigated a two car collision at 8:15 Tuesday morning at 13th and Linden. Milo Vach in a 1942 Chevrolet and Mrs Max Cory in a 1946 Dodge were involved. Dodge southbound on 13th did not see the Chevrolet westbound on Linden. Icy streets contributed to the crash. Estimated damages: Cory $235, Vach $200.

Firemen's Ball Set for February 12 at City Auditorium

Man pleads guilty on check charges

The Great Western Sugar Company will mail checks January 28 to beet growers in Colorado Nebraska Billings Lovell districts totaling 1,908,802 as first additional payment for 1948 crops.
