Myers Rites Held Monday
Martin Edward Myers 79 died Friday morning after a six month illness. Services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Potter. Interment followed at Potter under Gehrig Funeral Home direction. He resided in Potter 28 years, born December 18, 1869 in DeSoto Indiana. Survived by wife Mary Lovell and two daughters, Thirte Downs and Xima LaBriola. Burial followed after hospitalization in Bidney and Omaha.

Tragic Death Of Six Year Old In Ogallala Truck Accident
A six year old girl Mary Levine Copley, daughter of Pearlie and Dorothy Copley, died after falling from a truck cab and being crushed by its wheels about five miles from Ogallala. Her mother drove the vehicle at 20 to 25 mph when the door jarred open and the child reached out to shut it. A brother Ira, age 8, rode in the cab between them. Funeral services were held Sunday.
