Cheyenne County Nebraska court actions merge two notices. Arnold Haack and Mary Haack seek to quiet title to Lots 11-12, Block 5, Oberfelder’s First Addition to Lodgepole. Separate case announces sheriff sale of Lots 1-2 and 11-12, Block 9, Tefft’s Addition to Potter. Parties named include real estate heirs, defendants, and Wilhelmina E Elquest. Sale set for February 21 1949 at 10 am at the courthouse East Front Door Sidney Nebraska.
The Beard County Board of Commissioners announces a formal bid call for one snow plow attachment for a Caterpillar 112 Patrol. Bids due February 1, 1949 at 1:00 p.m. in county offices. bids opened publicly. Right to reject any or all bids reserved. Board members Coulter Fleming Hunt, County Clerk Pindell.
The Board of Public Works convened at 7 40 with Chairman Guy and members Doran Uptegrove lec Ladegard Livingston Greenlee and others present. Minutes were approved and December bills totaling Electric 25237 41 Water 18079 80 and Sewer 729 50 were authorized for payment. A motion directs the Treasurer to draw checks on the Light and Power Plant Fund for 23000 to Operation and Maintenance Sp Reg No 74 and 7055 58 to Sp Reg No 75 with a further payment to Bond Account. The manager was instructed to contact Robert Fulton, Consulting Engineer, to secure immediate replacement or repair for the 1800 HP Fairbanks Morse Engine per contract.
It was moved by Ladegard seconded by Greenlee to recommend payment to Fulton for Estimates 2 3 and 4 totaling 2311.92 1138.81 and 316.35. All members voted aye. A motion by Uptegrove second by Ladegard approved a 100.00 annual Chamber of Commerce dues bill. A transfer of 8639.82 December from Sewer Bond to Sewer Maintenance per Ordinance No 347 Sec 8 was approved. Adjournment at 9 23 N W Ladegarda.
Creditors of Albert E Linton estate must file claims by May 7 1949. Claims not filed by May 6 1949 are barred. The county court will be in session February 7 1949 and May 7 1949 at 10 AM to receive examine allow or adjust all properly filed claims. Martin & Davis County Judge Attorneys 39 41 43
