Soldier Elliston Found Then Committed to Hastings Asylum
Alex Elliston an aging veteran, missing for days, was found in a half conscious state after accidentally alighting at Kearney. He was later identified and placed on the proper train toward Hastings where local commissioners of insanity ordered his commitment to the Hastings asylum for rest and recovery.
