Green Lantern Cafe Sold Reopens After Repaint and Clean
Mr and Mrs Carlos Kinney purchased the Green Lantern Cafe from Mr and Mrs Harry Amundsen. The cafe closed for Christmas cleaning and repainting but reopened Thursday morning. The Amundens plan no immediate future changes, while the Kinneys will run hours 6 30 a m to 10 30 p m daily except Tuesdays and plan to install a fountain soon. Moeller Rites Set For Today
Funeral services for William Moeller 85 will be held today at South Divide Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev Royden Frese officiating. Burial follows at South Divide Lutheran Cemetery. Moeller born June 19 1865 in Germany came to the United States in 1884 and lived in Kansas before homesteading in Sidney County Nebraska later moving to Maryland and back to Sidney to live with his daughter. He is survived by his daughter Mrs Emanuel Brauer and son William Moeller Sr. of Charlotte Hall Md plus 42 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two sisters in Kansas.

Drunk Driver Given Fine and Suspension in Nebraska
A man pleaded drunken driving charges in Bridgeport police court after a Monday morning accident on Route 19 north of Dalton. Identified as driving a 1939 Pontiac, he left his lane, struck about 10 guard rails, causing about 400 dollars in damage. He was fined 50 dollars plus costs and had his Nebraska driving privilege suspended for one year.
