Rodger Balfour Recovers After Denver Brain Surgery
Rodger Balfour is resting at Craig Rehabilitation Center in Denver after brain surgery Wednesday to relieve fluid pressure. Doctors implanted a tube to drain fluid to his stomach and plan further rehabilitation based on his recovery and ongoing speech therapy. His father, Robert Balfour, said the injury stemmed from an accidental hanging on Oct 22 and that brain damage is possible but not yet quantified. Mrs Balfour remained in Denver with him and would return home later.
