Dalton Tigers stay undefeated by routing Bushnell 70 to 45 and Gurley 80 to 49. Rusty Flamig led Dalton with 22 points in the Gurley game while Randy Flamig and Vick contributed, and Bushnell Cary Parsons scored 16 in the Bulldogs loss. Dalton will prep for the Minuteman Activities Conference tournament next week.
Lincoln officials say a $1 surcharge on football tickets for Nebraska’s four non conference games next season will fund a new artificial turf. Regents approved raising the price to $9.25 for games against Washington State, Alabama, Baylor and Indiana.

Creighton, Nebraska Wesleyan and Doane claimed wins over out of state opponents with Doane extending its home win streak to 17. Creighton beat Southwestern Louisiana 90-79 to push its record to 8-2 with four players in double figures led by Robert Scratchens 20 and Cornell Smith 16. Nebraska Wesleyan routed Avila 98-69. In wrestling, Sidney defeated Gordon 50-6 and Imperial 53-4 as coach Gary Nickal praised the team’s fast pins and strong effort after a layoff, with upcoming duals on Jan 15 at Gordon for the Western Conference tournament.
Potter beats Dix 71 45 as Larry Wieser sprains ankle after sitting out first half. Jeff Schnell scores 21 for Potter while Terrell Shaw leads Dix with 17. Potter, 6 2, uses full court press and shoots 49 percent as starting five remains sidelined by injuries and illness.
