Nebraska electric managers meet with Exon over REA suit
Western Nebraska rural electric associations will meet Gov. JJ Exon in Lincoln on Wednesday. They will present viewpoints on the state lawsuit against the U.S. Rural Electrification Administration over a Wheatland Wyoming power complex. The group says the suit could delay a plant costing over $1 billion slated to provide power in the early 1980s. They also plan to protest a PSC ruling requiring a hearing on every new power line.
