Couple Burned When Lamp Exploded at Farm Near Gurley
Mr and Mrs Julius Becker farmers six miles east of Gurley suffered severe burns when a kitchen lamp exploded spraying flames on them. They were rushed to Roche hospital in critical condition with little hope for survival. Their three children escaped unharmed as neighbors moved them to safety and the house sustained heavy damage.
