Labor Demand Dips In Sidney Area Due To Missile Work

Labor demand in the Sidney Nebraska area eased slightly from last year, with most activity in wholesale, retail trade, and contract construction. Weather kept some projects going, while missile base construction boosted local office activity and January claims at Kimball itinerant point rose sharply. Area counties include Banner Cheyenne Deuel and Kimball. Manny Ycaza has ridden in the Kentucky Derby trolley three times in five years but has not won.
