Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Craig Mortuary for George E Wood 59 who died Monday at a local hospital officiated by Rev Harold B Taylor of Light Memorial Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Born at Clay Center Nebraska he was the son of George and Mary Wood pioneer eastern Nebraska settlers. He lived and farmed land two miles south of Sidney for over 30 years. Surviving is one brother Earl R Wood of Yakima Washington.
