Deadline Nearing For New Licenses In Cheyenne County
Cheyenne County motorists have five and a half days to buy 1956 motor vehicle licenses. The deadline is Wednesday February 29. Afterward, vehicles with old plates may be stopped and owners arrested. County Treasurer Herbert Stevens reports over 7,000 plates sold so far and projects up to 8,500 by close of business next Wednesday.
