Potter’s Lions Honor Wheat King and Local Dance Night
The Potter Lions Club met at the Legion Hall with 32 members. Fred Imquist, guest, received Wheat King trophies from Pillsbury Milling Co and Ak-Sar-Ben as a Nebraska Wheat King. The Tail Twist ers fund donated $7 to the Boy Scout drive. Potter High held a Valentine dance with students and faculty, dancing and refreshments. Local activities include declamatory contests on March 14 with winners advancing to Lodgepole Valley and Scottsbluff, plus music recitals and various community events in Potter and surrounding areas.
