Airport appoints Sidney Air Service manager
Sidney's airport is now under the management of Sidney Air Service Inc with Thomas E Seeley as manager. He comes from Cheyenne where he was chief pilot for Wyoming Skyways and has done spraying and charter work in Sidney. Two ammunition laden West Nebraska Express trucks in a four vehicle, Omaha collision. no serious injuries. Cecil Larimore of Council Bluffs drove into the lead truck while attempting a left turn under an escorted police cruiser with red lights. Larimore, treated for facial cuts, says he mistook the cruiser for a taxi and planned the turn anyway. reckless driving and disregard for a police signal are cited. Trucks were en route to Omaha from the Sioux Ordnance Depot in Sidney.

Trainor Rites Will Be At Former Home
Petrina Trainor 70 died in St Marys Hospital Scottsbluff after a 10 day stay.
