Central States Drilling Co reports an apparent field development well in Kimball County at the No. 1 Strain-State GE N in section 16 15 55 near Kimball. Allison Drilling Co drilled it and completed casing after a drill stem test recovered over 600 feet of oil. Kimbark Exploration Co was plugged Sunday at the No. 1 Fecht in Cheyenne County, a wildcat venture that failed.
