School Board Elects Two New Teachers
The Sidney board of education elected Mrs. John Jensen as first grade instructor at East Ward School to fill an unexpired term and Miss Cheryl Johnson as speech therapist for 1967 68. Johnson, a Sidney High School and Colorado State College graduate, is studying at Kent University. The board supported LB448 state aid and opposed National Testing. They accepted the 1965 66 audit by Gerke Schaeffer. Teacher contracts set for March 13.
