Auto Mishap Causes Heavy Damage on Osage Street
Sidney police investigated an afternoon collision on Osage Street near Memorial Hospital involving a 1964 car driven by 46 year old Boyd Williams. The impact with the bridge railing caused about 800 dollars damage to the car and severely damaged the guard rails. Williams was not injured and bridge damage estimates were not available.

Government Doublecross Is Charged

Cattle Rustling Case Is Checked Near Peetz
Logan County Sheriff Vince Bianco said rustlers stole 19 head of whiteface cattle from a Peetz area ranch within the last two weeks. J P McKenzie, who ranches about eight miles south of Peetz, reported the loss after noticing cattle missing. Investigators saw the cattle driven to an abandoned farmhouse and corral a mile from the winter pasture, then loaded into a truck and hauled away.
