Big Rabbit Drive Nets 10,400 Rabbits in Logan County
Friday’s rabbit drive covered 105 land sections with hundreds of hunters. About 10 4000 rabbits and 10 coyotes were taken, said to be the largest event yet in Logan County. Rabbits sold for 9 cents apiece, with lunch and expenses deducted and the remainder paid to shell-furnishing hunters.

Ted Farr aged 22, a well known Dalton youth and son of Mrs Mildred Farr, is unconscious in Dalton hospital after a high speed wreck south of Dalton. His car crashed during a race with Dewey Derks, flipping and wrecking along the highway. Farr suffered head injuries with concussion and multiple wounds. doctors fear he may die. Farr resided with his mother on the Farr place near Gurley.
