Dairy Movement Grows in Nebraska Panhandle
Scottsbluff reports a new dairy experiment has sparked regional interest in the panhandle area. Chambers of commerce and Lions clubs in Sidney Kimball Pine Bluffs are promoting bringing in dairy cattle with application blanks printed to gauge response before stocking. The valley trial yielded limited interest until Wisconsin cattle arrived and a publicity push followed.
