An entertainment will be held at the schoolhouse in district 78 four miles south of old Colton this Friday evening to benefit enlarging the school library. Admission 10 and 15 cents. The forecast warns of heavy snow tonight and a possible blizzard with a wind shift Saturday in the area.

Union Pacific Trainmen Arrested in Cheyenne Theft Ring

Cheyenne police and Union Pacific detectives cracked a theft gang operating between Sidney and Cheyenne. Seven trainmen including Conductor Austin and Brakemen Drake Ferris and Costello were jailed. leader McDonald remains at large. Dozens of stolen goods were recovered in homes searched in Cheyenne.
