The Sidney Chamber of Commerce seeks at least 18 people to fly Frontier Airlines from Sidney to Grand Junction Colorado on Wednesday February 12 to inspect downtown renewal and improvement efforts that earned Grand Junction an All-American City designation. Reservations with Wayne Moran are due by Thursday five p.m. with a 7 30 a m departure and 10 p m return. Warren Ellison leads a downtown beautification committee hoping the trip sparks the project.

Nebraska's Interstate 80 will move west this year with 26.5 miles Lexington to Gothenburg and 6 miles west of Gothenburg plus 6 miles Goehner to Seward interchanges not opening due to access. No Word On Hearing For Tax Dispute
State Tax Commissioner Forrest Johnson will start a series of hearings on property tax exemptions in Western Nebraska. The first hearing is Monday at 2 p.m. in Harrisburg about two community halls.
