Brownie and Scout Local Club Notes from Jan 31
Brownie Troop 80 met at Mrs. Garland Cross's home with fourteen girls. Mary Lou Rocha led the pledge, and the group sang. They worked on tea towels and May Day favors, and noted absences of Virginia Giron and Carmen Oliverez. Troop 93 met at Mrs. Young with six members, opening with the pledge, reviewing laws, making valentines, and playing score ball. Diana Humphrey led reports, with winners Pearson, Young, and Humphrey. SooTeens met at Unit 17 for about 25 members, decided to donate proceeds from a Valentine Dance to the March of Dimes, then danced. no Feb 7 meeting due to the dance. J.A.G. Canasta Club met at Mrs. Ralph Bruner’s. honors won by Blanch Humphrey, Ralph Bruner, and Jack Pearson. Cub Scout Pack Meeting Den 2 on Jan 28 saw 25 parents and 15 cubs. candy sale nets and donations reported. stamps to be saved. Blue and Gold dinner Feb 25.
