Cheyenne County District Court opened the February term with Judge John Kuns calling seven cases for jury trial starting Feb 11. Seven more remain earmarked for jury hearing though dates are not set. Of the seven slated, two are criminal: Daniel Cottam charged over a $175 forged check in Sidney and Danny Virgil charged with assault with intent. Both plead innocent. Mrs. Frank Frauendorfer Sr., mother of Sidney resident Frank Frauendorfer, died Jan 17 in Hamburg Germany. She had just turned 85 two days earlier and with her husband, 90, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in May 1956. Survivors include her husband and three daughters in Germany, and sons Frank of Sidney and Joseph of Beaumont California, plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
